A note from Nigel Vowles, the landlord:
I have been at the Market Inn since April 2000. This is my first venture into the hospitality trade, having spent all of my working life in the motor industry.
I was a regular at the Market Inn before taking it over and the improvements it has seen during my tenure I believe have been sympathetic to, and enhanced, its facilities and appeal.
As well as running the pub I have an interest in wood working and some of my handywork can be seen around the pub, most noticeably the tables in the lounge bar as well as refurbishments to other tables and chairs. |
