On 20th August 2005 Somerset Gryphons Hockey Club will be holding their "Old Skool Sports Day" at the Market Inn, Yatton.

The event will begin at 12:00 midday and will feature a fun-packed afternoon of classic races and sports that you will remember from your schooldays including the Egg & Spoon Race, the Three-legged Race, the Wheelbarrow Race, Water Bombs and many more. There will also be various prizes as well as a barbeque.

Yes, it is silly but you'll be surprised how much fun it is!

The inter pub Cricket sixes are held anually at Claverham Cricket Club on the Sunday of the August bank holiday.

We generally enter 2 teams against the other pubs in the village, and have won in the past, come along this year and see if we can again, or join in.
